Miss Alice Hibbert

Research Assistant (Outcome measures)

Alice Hibbert joined the Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre in November 2017 as a Research Assistant to support the COMIT project which aims to develop a Core Outcome Set for tinnitus trials. The main focus of her role is contributing to finalising the definitions of outcome domains from Stage 1 of the project and appraising the psychometric and practical properties of potential outcome measures in the Stage 2 of the project.

Alice studied at the University of Nottingham, graduating with a First class BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology in 2016. She stayed on to complete an MSc in Health Psychology in which she was awarded a Distinction.

Expertise Summary

During her undergraduate and master’s degrees, Alice gained experience of both quantitative and qualitative research, studying voluntary blood donation and mobile health apps for alcohol abuse respectively. Alice is interested in the use of online methods applied to health research, and has experience identifying, appraising and trialling outcome measures for the purpose of monitoring and evaluation within charity settings.
