Douglas Hartley leads the Multisensory Brain Laboratory that is affiliated to the University of Nottingham's School of Medicine, Division of Clinical Neuroscience , the NIHR Nottingham Hearing BRU, the Medical Research Council Institute of Hearing Research (MRC IHR) and the Nottingham Auditory Implant Programme.
Douglas Hartley is Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at The University of Nottingham and Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Consultant Surgeon at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust.
Douglas’ expertise is in ENT conditions in adults and children, particularly hearing and balance disorders, chronic ear disease and cholesteatoma. He is a specialist in ear surgery, including mastoidectomy, bone-anchored hearing aids and cochlear implants.
