PhD student (Tinnitus and hyperacusis)
Hattie is a PhD student funded by the British Tinnitus Association. Her work focusses on the development of a questionnaire measure of tinnitus in children.
Hattie joined us as a Research Assistant in 2016, working on the Core Outcome Measures in Tinnitus International Delphi (COMIT’ID) study which aims to identify important outcomes in tinnitus in order to help standardise the way future tinnitus clinical trials are conducted.
Hattie graduated from the University of Leeds in 2011 where she was awarded a BSc Honours degree in Neuroscience. After graduating, and before joining us, Hattie worked as a Research Manager within international healthcare market research, where she gained considerable experience within both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Whilst in this role Hattie coordinated several projects centered around the evaluation of developmental agents, clinical trial design and patient outcomes.
