The National Institute for Health Research Nottingham Hearing Biomedical Research Unit (NIHR Nottingham Hearing BRU) is located in the heart of Nottingham, easily accessible by train, tram and bus routes and close to a number of city centre car parks. The NIHR Nottingham Hearing BRU is situated in the ‘Castle Zone' of Nottingham City Centre, just off Derby Road and Maid Marian Way.

Follow signs for the city centre and the ‘Castle Zone’. Nearest car parks are Mount Street and St James’s Street.
There is also on-road car parking outside Ropewalk House with a number of designated parking spaces for disabled people. Parking on the Ropewalk (Zone 2) costs £1 an hour and there is no maximum stay. Parking for disabled people is free but the maximum parking time allowed is three hours. Parking on Park Row (Zone 1) is double the cost of parking on the Ropewalk.

The ‘Market Square’ and ‘Royal Centre’ tram stops are the two closest tram stops to NIHR Nottingham Hearing BRU. Trams run every 10 minutes. There are five park and ride sites along the route. Visit www.thetram.net or call 0115 942 7777 for full details of the tram route.
