Valuing Hearing-Related Health Online
We want to know about hearing loss and how you think certain listening difficulties would affect your daily life. We want to get some insight into the views of the general public about how they think having a hearing loss affects everyday life. The study involves listening to audio clips and completing a brief computer based exercise.
Participating in this study will take no more than 15 minutes. You will be asked to give consent, answer some demographic questions and then you will be presented with two different methods of portraying what it’s like to live with a hearing loss. We want you to imagine that the descriptions are describing your own ability to hear in everyday situations. You will have to consider how much you would be affected by living with the listening difficulties described.
At the end of the experiment you will be shown a code that you can send to the email address stated to be entered into the prize draw for several £10 Amazon vouchers.
